Improved cultivar from 'Kanlow' with increased winter survivability and biomass yield. Looks similar to and has retained basic morphology of 'Kanlow'. Fast establishing with vigorous seedling growth; maximum production can be achieved in the second year after establishment depending on planting year stand density; 5-6 tons per acre biomass yield potential. Good substitute for 'Kanlow'.
